01 / HOW CITYWIN WORKS
If your network wins,
you win too.
One grand prize winner. Up to two matching prizes. The eligible person who referred the winner, and the eligible person who referred them, can each receive a full matching prize.
- 01Share a testimonial. Enter each day.
One valid testimonial each month qualifies you for daily entries when CITYWIN opens: a chance at a $500 SHOP LOCAL New York Places gift card or $250 cash.
- 02Invite your friends. They invite theirs.
Your link records your direct referrals and the people they bring in. Each direct referral who qualifies and enters adds one bonus chance for you that month.
- 03A grand prize win can reach two levels.
If someone in either referral level wins the grand prize, eligible referrers receive a matching prize of their own. Each prize is awarded in full.

What can I win?
Choose a $500 SHOP LOCAL New York Places gift card or $250 cash.
How does the matching prize work?
If someone you referred, or someone they referred, wins the grand prize, you can receive a matching prize of your own. Matching prizes follow two referral levels and each recipient must be eligible. A referral does not guarantee a win. Official rules will be available before entries open.
Where can I use the gift card?
The gift card is for SHOP LOCAL New York Places, with products from local and national merchants. It is not a promise of acceptance at every business in the LOCAL New York Places directory.
What about merchant rewards?
LOCAL Insider merchant rewards are a separate program. You and your two referral levels can earn SHOP LOCAL Reward Credits when nominated businesses become active qualifying MarketLOCK360 Merchants, subject to the LOCAL Insider Program Terms.
What testimonial do I need?
Submit a valid testimonial about a LOCAL business each calendar month to qualify for that month’s daily entries. One testimonial unlocks the month; you don’t need a new one every day. A testimonial waiting for review qualifies, but one that is declined does not.
How do referral bonus chances work?
Once entries open, each direct referral who qualifies with a testimonial and enters that month gives you one bonus chance in that month’s drawing. Your own monthly testimonial and rules confirmation are required too. Activate referral bonuses from your CITYWIN dashboard; you don’t need to add a daily entry to activate them. Indirect referrals count toward matching prizes, but do not add bonus chances.
